The Invisible Yoke

for a yoke to be present between a pair and others have no idea it’s there,
maybe that’s not so bad.
just me and You,
attached, bond, tied, linked.
a yoke that’s invisible.
in that way, with no one interrupting, I’ll depend on You more, communicate with You more, pay more attention to You, appreciate You more, learn more about You, learn more about me
we’ll trust each other more, I won’t be able to run from You, we’ll get lost in deep places of intimacy, I won’t loose track of You
since we’re a consecrated pair, invisibly yoked, on this mysterious journey, heading in the same direction, pulling an unusual load no one else was built to handle
